Our safety efforts are mainly concentrated in 3 directions:
- Focus on accident prevention rather than cure;
- Acquire a fleet that can be operated with maximum safety;
- Provide a safe and healthy workplace.

Safety
The safety philosophy at Atlas Translogistics is to create and maintain an injury-free workplace and the first step to ensure that is to promote sound safety awareness.
Each Atlas Translogistics employee beginning with top management plays a role in reaching and maintaining our “zero accidents” target. Our drivers are thoroughly trained to respect their threefold responsibility: (1) towards their safety and health, (2) towards the safety and health of the other traffic participants and (3) towards the safety of the cargo they carry to our customers. All senior drivers are highly experienced and fully knowledgeable of driving and cargo safety rules. Junior drivers go through induction programs that include on-the-job training for up to 3 months prior to being assigned as main drivers on Atlas Translogistics vehicles.
At Atlas Translogistics SAFETY means that:
- We ensure a comprehensive new hire screening where only drivers with a clean safety record are recruited. Moreover, new hire training and testing for all drivers in safe operational procedures is in place. Similarly we conduct new hire training in workplace accident prevention for all office personnel;
- A Safety department has recently been established for the design, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of company safety policies and procedures. The continuous goals of the department are 100% incidents-free rate and 100% accidents-free rate;
- Each vehicle is equipped with safety equipment (for the protection of the driver, cargo and the general public) that consists of safety boots, helmet, protection glasses and gloves, belts, edge protectors, fire extinguisher, medical kit and other safety equipment;
- All vehicles are periodically checked to ensure 100% compliance with safety and security on wheels in accordance with a comprehensive routine maintenance program developed internally;
- The merits of Atlas Translogistics drivers who provide safe and accidents free transportation services to our customers are recognized through our Safe Driving Awards Program.
