Our care to the environment

Working in an industry that highly impacts the environment, we recognize that we have a moral responsibility to make a positive contribution to the environment protection and that the policies we implement and follow today will also affect the lives of future generations.

To this purpose, we take waste reduction and recycling measures in our office activities and emission reduction measures in our driving activities, and assume overall responsibility for minimizing adverse environmental impact to protect the future of our children.

In full compliance with ISO 14001:2004 certification program we conduct an annual environmental audit at each office and vehicle parking location.

We recycle engine oil and other lubricants and train our drivers to ensure increased fuel efficiency. We will also develop our fleet only with Euro 5 type vehicles and continue to subcontract only Euro 4 and Euro 5 type vehicles.

In the offices, we take active measures to ensure an efficient consumption of energy and paper resources and to reduce and/or recycle materials. We encourage and support local initiatives for paper collection and recycling and for a greener environment.

We also strive to ensure that all our suppliers of goods and services, from office supplies to transportation services providers, are fully informed about our environmental concerns and are aware of the environmental responsibilities when doing business with Atlas Translogistics.
